View Full Version : Anyone have a few hours Saturday?

I've been trying to sell my house for several weeks now and we just about had the thing sold last week, but the buyer dropped out because the roof needs work. So now I'm roofing, fast as I can. I'm in sort of a time pinch, if anyone could give a hand for a few hours this weekend I'd buy the pizza, beer, etc. I'd even BBQ but I don't want to use roofing time in front of the BBQ.

It's a pretty small roof, four flat slopes with a 4/12 pitch. I have one nail gun and compressor, should go pretty fast but one more guy makes roofing go 3 times faster, at least.

I know this sounds lame but I wish I could. I need to do my own roof in the next couple years and why not learn on yours? Problem is I will be out of town. Another time I guess.

Shane...if I am off on Saturday I will come lend a hand. With my work its hard to say though.

Love to have the help if you have the time Ryan. Shingles are being delivered today between 2pm and 5pm, so I'll start as soon as I get home from work and be back on the roof first thing in the morning.

Still planning on this in the rain? Doing the whole thing? I might be taking my Dad to visit my Grandpa, if we don't go I'll stop by.

yeah, I have to. I was going to head out to the annual cattle round-up and branding but I'm in a pinch and need this stupid roof on pretty quick. If it rains too hard I might get pushed off the roof, but I'll get as far as I can.

I hate roofing.

Well, I'll be working on it each night after work till it's done. I'm a little over 1/2 way finished right now, should be another 3 nights or so, I was hoping to be finished before Saturday.
