I'd be up for a run to wellsville in those months. I tried getting something together earlier, but it was too many conflicts.I got nothing going on about that time.

my neighbor's been quite a few times in his TJ, I could probably convince him to come, I don't think it will take much arm twisting to go wheeling.

Wellsville is down on the river in OH, so it would probably be a bit of a drive for you. If this does happen and anyone wants to overnight at my place you're welcome to. I'm smack dab between cleveland and columbus on 71.

well its 7 hours for me to the Badlands, probalby about the same to the Cliffs so its all the same to me. Only place in MI i really want to go to this year are Drummond Island and Silver Lake. But neither of those are a lot of fun.

We could probably do something at redbird in the late fall like we did last year. I don't even know why I am posting this because I hate that place.

fine, I'll drive it, but you're fixing the body damage. I'll try not and f mine up as bad as Mark did, no following some crazy guy in a yj.
and I just fixed the passenger side door too.

you don't need that door.
I've been pretty light on the body damage.
I leaned the bed up against a tree in Uwharrie, and I dented the drivers side read bed to match the passenger side dent I did at WF.
Other than some trail pinstriping it's still pretty clean.
I did lose a ten spoke center cap though, and that's what pissed me off the most. Stupid center cap. Lesson learned, remove center cap before playing in rocks

Just seen this thread. What about some Wisconsin wheeling? Take the ferry over lake Michigan if coming from there. The Pipeline or McCaslin are both great places to wheel. Possibly Apple Valley Farms also. I have been trying to get a run going up in this area for awhile now but nobody has had the time recently.
Camping on the Pipeline is free being in a National Forest and McCaslin has good prices and everything you would probably need. So what does everybody think? Let me know.

where's the Wheeling at in WI? I got some family up there, could make it a combo vist/wheel deal.

There is some pretty good wheeling around here. McCaslin Mountain Campground has about 400 acres with trails from easy to very hard. Awesome place to wheel and camping is good. This is located about ten miles east of Lakewood, Wisconsin.
There is also the Pipeline located south of McCaslin east of the town of Mountain. Great wheeling also and free being the National Forest. Camping is free also and you can camp anywhere. Here you don't have to worry about waking up the other campers while sitting around the fire drunk, night wheeling, or anything else you would want to do.
We usually go here Memorial, July 4th, and Labor day weekends. We did not go on July 4th but was told it was a good time. We are planning on going Labor day weekend.
Mache, where is your family here located? I posted some pictures of McCaslin a couple of months ago from a spring wheeling trip with ZukiRon. Look them up or go to www.wohva.com and check out the pictures on there of McCaslin in the forum section. HTH.

So come on everyone, lets get some wheeling going on up here. You won't be disappointed at all. If you want rock crawling, good challenging trails, mud, whatever it is we have some very good trails for all to enjoy.

I wouldn't be able to make a WI run, but a day at the Badlands might be doable about that time of the year. Jeepin Ohio has a club event at Wellsville around the end of October too. I went last year for one day, and was made to feel welcome.

that's alright Dirt. I will be going to the pipeline for Labor Day weekend and then there is the Fall Color Run at McCaslin in October so I will be going anyways. Just thought it would be a good chance for some to come wheel around here. Brad and BC came last October and had a good time. Oh well.

Woody, I'd be down for a trip up to da North land sometime. I think I'll be in Phoenix for work over labor day weekend (subject to change, of course), but some other time in September or October, or maybe a couple trips would be cool. :D Garsh it's nice up there! Appreciate the invite!

Gator, whenever you get the chance to come on up let me know. If you can't make the Labor Day weekend run there are other weekends to wheel. Just let me know in advance.

i've heard some good things about it, but only if you go with someone who knows where they are going. its not like a normal orv park with marked trails. that's the main reason i want to attend, because i'd really like a new place to wheel and guided trail rides are perfect. i plan on taking a GPS unit and tracking the trails. let me know if you want to go. i know a few others from MI that are going and i think there is a convoy from Toledo going.

Great!! I will be up there from the 31st through the 4th. When do you two plan on coming up this way? There is plenty of camping space around us or there is an entire National Forest to pick from so whatever you would like to do. Or are you only coming for the day? If so I had better make sure my junk is still running on Labor Day
Let me know what your plans are.
