Differences between '87 and '96????

I friend of mine is helping another friend swap everything from a wrecked '96 into an '87. As far as the engine controls etc. they are swapping everything over.

The ? I have from them is: How diffrent is the fuel system? Do they need to swap the tank and lines as well?

Any other words of wisdom would be appreciated....
