If he wins it might just be the greatest comeback in tour history.

Floyd used to live on my FedEx route in Irvine. Used to stop and talk bikes with him. Cool guy. And to think that he could be the next Tour champion is just wild.

Tomorrow will decide.
Biggest TT of his life.

I was pissed when they let Oscar get 28 minutes ahead. Great to see Floyd get a little emotional on yesterdays stage.

No doubt that FLoyd can beat both Oscar and Carlos in the TT. Definitely one of the best Tours we've seen in recent years. I will say that I am bummed about Jan's absence. I like him lots.

I been giggling over here watching the boys from Saunier Duval try and come up with something for who?.............MAYBE Millar?

Floyd's got to do it all on his own.
Phonac's race director is a complete tard.
He is the guy who sets race strategy.
He gave Pereiro the yellow (and the tour if not for stage 17) without ordering a chase down.
He allowed his top rider and tour favorate to miss two feed zones on the hardest climbing day of the tour.
Worst of all; how long do you think it would have taken Lance to be surrounded by blue jerseys if he'd gotten into trouble like Landis did? About 30 seconds? If that?
Floyd died alone for 10K before Merkxx finally led him in the last kilo.
It'd be fitting for him to win it in the individual TT.

Operation Fuerto was a shame but I still like big Jan. Always have.

I also think the Phonak squad perhaps just wasn't quite ready to deal with the Yellow jersey. The jersey does strange things. Look where Discovery is this year. Hincapie's not much of a threat. Lance was the glue. Floyd left b/c of the militant way that Lance and Johan ran things but that's how it's gotta be if you wanna wear yellow. I think Floyd struggles with that aspect of the game. Not to mention that he has some riders that feel the same way. Look at Merckx. He left Lotto b/c Robbie chased down his break last year b/c Robbie wanted the points. He left the team and went to Phonak. In reality, Robbie should have chased that down. No other team is showing us the discipline that we've seen from Posta./Discovery in years past. There's disarry as to who they're working for or what the objective is.
