Rear quarter panel guards

Not sure if you want a full gaurd or just the lower. Rock Lizard Fab and C-Rok make a nice lower gaurd.

Rock-lizard is stopping production of their XJ lines of items, so they are selling everything cheap at the moment. Just get it before they're gone.

Thor guards (gotta try and push local products) you can get em with the oval or the round cut outs. John has a stack of the older body style ready to be shipped.

Well, that pic looks familiar :D
I bought these from Avanteone. Great guy, great service. The fit was good and they are beefy 3/16" thick. I did add some gusseting inside the taillight area to help fend off the AZ rocks. Here's a link to the thread on my install:

got any more pics of your rig with those panels? did you have to do any trimming on your hatch to fit them?

No, they mount flush with your tail lights, so you wouldn't have to trim any.

On '96 and older the RLF guards overlap part of the hatch because our tail lights are shorter than the '97+ ones.

Just modify your Jeep to a 97+, problem solved!! Really, I don't know about older xj's.
