Speaker size

Probably not really a tech question. What can you get for speakers in a XJ? My truck came with some Pioneer 5.25 in the doors and soundbar (99 XJ)

They are no where near enough. Can I get anything bigger in the soundbar? The doors?

6 1/2 in the sound bar no problem and if you drill your own mounting holes you can also put 6 1/2 in the doors as well.

I put some Phoenix Gold 6.5" mids in the soundbar on my '97 but it does require a little bit of careful enlargement (trimming) of the speaker openings.I used a Dremel with a small cut-off wheel to do it and it worked really well.You only need to enlarge the openings about 1/4"- 3/8" depending on the design of the speaker basket.
