.007 is exactly where ya wanna be. Now if I can figure out where the other drivetrain clunks are from..

JohnX

Talk about clunk...new detroit in the front make twice the noise the rear one does. Clunks a little in 2wd on hard ground while turning.

Remi...is that normal?

What kind of Detroit?
My soft lock (full time) never makes any noise, the rear does only rarely.
:dunno:

mine Detroit EZ locker can be annoying sometimes...someday I'll get the full locker and it should be much quieter

This is a new full detroit. #162S-60B. The $500 model.

Maybe my track bar is loose? Guess I better double check all my bolts before I assume its the locker. :D

BTW...how did we go from welding boggers to locker sounds and backlash specs?

You know what they say John...

You can't completely fool proof anything. There will always be a bigger and better fool around the next bend.

Cracker is our own bigger and better fool and he's ours to hold dear (meaning mock endlessly).

JohnX

Oh...right. Continue mocking as you were.
