T-case slips out of 4-low

Yes I tried searching.

My XJ: 95 country, 4litre, 175K Miles on the clock, mostly stock, part time only t-case (231??)

2 Hi and 4 Hi work great but 4 low doesn't stay in gear...It'll pop into N under load.

Any suggestions on where to start?

Is this a common problem?

Fix T-case or adjust linkage??\

Any Advice would be mucho apreciado

THX!!

:wow:

loosen the nut on the linkage and manually put the t-case in 4-low and then move the handle to 4-low and tighten the nut.

It was trial and error for me, but only took a few minutes to get it right.

dont do it while its running :D

driving to work hears noise. truck wont go into park puts in N
looks under truck messes around puts truck in D(truck running)
