i have a friend who has a set of mickey thompson classic 2's for his ranger. he recently put new rims on. will 3 5/8 backspacing work on a cherokee?

cant see why not my rims are 4 inch back spaced and work good

3 5/8 is gunna stick out more than 4 right? so only thing i have to be concerned with is rubbing on fenders or something?
