Anybody ever see boxed or tube control arms for stock height XJ's?

IIRC it was either Rancho or Skyjacker that had boxed LCA's, that are stock length. Any aftermarket arm that is stock length will work.

You know if there was any difference in handling with those in comparison to the stock stamped arms?

I'm sure you lose some comfort being that Rancho probably uses a poly bushing, so it probably roughs the ride up.

wj control arms are boxed and have a bend that allows for turning larger tires
True, but if you go this route, make sure the big oval bushings are good. There aren't any replacements made by anybody--not even the dealer. The arms have to be replaced, and that's pretty pricey. I'm still working on covering the oval holes up with some plate and then putting in some different bushings.jay diemme said:
