I have been having issues going through CPS's about every 6 months to a year. Which brand is best or just go to the dealer?

I ran a Wells (from Autozone) in my 94 ZJ with the 4.0l. Never had problems afterwards.

Im at sea-level and run a hi altitude one from the dealer, Its just a little timing difference. They didn't stock them at auto zone and advance when I got that one and now they do. I guess I been running on this one about 7 years, the first one lasted 11 years... So the dealer might be a better choice its hard to tell nowadays.....I have been lucky with this xj.

I prefer Mopar parts me-self...however, when the dealer wants $300 for an $89 item at autozone, autozone it is.
But I think for sensors the prices are pretty comparable, especially thru www.chryslerpartsdirect.com (http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com)

I can't seem to find one there, they are listed in the menu but no parts.

Local dealer wants $113.00. :bawl:
Well I guess it isn't that bad if it lasts as long as my other 93' original OEM, but if it doesn't last, there goes $113.00.

I bought a Wells at AutoZone, but then I read some threads saying the Wells does not have a good reputation. So for a back up I bought an Echlin from NAPA. IIRC, it was around $70. According to the opinions here, the Echlin has a better reputation.
