Johnson Valley?

I am interested in going to the Put up or Shut up Event next weekend down sout, but need to know about camping around Johnson Valley. Are there places to use a tent, fees, etc... any advice or information would be appreciated. Anyone from down south going???

There is camping everywhere.........but no facilities of any kind, and no fees. Most people camp on the dry lake bed, and there will be groups spread out all over the lake bed.

Better bring WARM clothes and plenty of firewood........it gets VERY cold at night, especially if the wind is blowing.
