wanted: 6" lift without heim joints...

hey peps i have a 00 xj with a 4.5 lift now i want to go to a 6" or 8" lift but i don't want a kit with heim joints bc they don't last long and they rattle..and also the winter salt and sand kill them.... who make a quality lift kit with out those damm heim joints

I have had heim joints in my frontend for about 20k no problems in MA they salt plety here... Just grease them very well and very often.

I drove my 94 XJ in Chicago suburban salt and crud for 4 years and are still on my original cross over heims.

I can see your point if you've been burned by cheap heims. BTW, I'll stick with Johnny Joints or other large spherical joints for the control arms and trackbar.

teraflex arms only have a heim at the axle end. the other end is vulcanized rubber. i agree with traitor5150 though, i'd run heims and just keep 'em lubed.
