Trans

I have a 89 cherokee and from pics I saw I am 99.9% sure that I have an ax15 trans. But I read in the FAQ's that the 89's came with the Peugeot BA10/5. Is it possible that I have the AX15. I know that there has been no work done on the trans.

Thanks for any advice.

The Peugoet tranny splits down the middle, like an older VW engine.
