eb d44 question...

I'm picking up a bare housing and i have some knuckles off of a 70's J truck and was wondering if i could bolt the knuckles onto the ford housing without any problems. i searched around but i couldn't find what i was looking for.

Assuming the J-Truck had a D44 front, and I am nearly certain it did, all D44's use the same balljoints (with the obvious exceptions of closed knuckle and kingpin models from the 60's), making outer knuckles interchangeable. I think all outer stubs are likewise interchangeable, with the exception of some c-clip thing... read here, and all your questions will be answered:
