Chooseco LLC, which recently began re-issuing the R.A. Montgomery books, filed the suit Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Burlington. In addition to the car maker, it names as defendants BBDO Detroit Inc., Organic Inc. and Marvel Entertainment Inc.

Such a shame that the spammers are getting it in the shorts, too...

Those kinds of books have been out for a long time.
You make decissions along the way to change the outcome of the story.

I can see their point, however, there comes a point where things become silly.
Take the whole "Lite" VS "Light" beer wars. How can you copywrite words that are in the dictionary?

Oh well, tomorrows another week (c) 2007 Zuki-Ron :D

just like the NFL that copyrighted the super bowl.
Everyone else has to call it the big game or the last game of the year or final game.
i always wondered why it was the big game party..
Nfl was suing people over its use.
in short they wanted the money..
come on its a game.

The cow's out of the barn...

So, pay up!

Sounds like they got caught at their own game. They've raked enough people over the coals in their time - the slotted grill patent comes to mind - so share the wealth, if it's too late to retract.
