I want to install an overhead console in ny MJ. The full length XJ consoles are way too long for the cab and must be trimmed. So, I'm curious if anyone has installed the 1997+ smaller ZJ consoles as in the pic below in an MJ or XJ? I have searched and found nothing rgarding using this type of console. I know I can only utilize the lights, compass, and temp features because of the computer differences, but that's all I want anyhow. With the correct mounting bracket, will these consoles mount okay and follow the contours of the XJ/MJ roof up front? If anyone has done this install I would really llike to see some pics. Thanks very much
