where can i find what options were available?

I am still looking for an XJ and i was wondering what options were available on what trim levels or the differences in the trim levels..
I notice the classics are rare compared to the sports. so i was curious if i bought a sport what i would be missing or ?
since most of the vehicles are bought straight from the dealer and not ordered i figured i would try to see the differences.

Go here. Fill out the form, and request an option sheet. You should get a reply within 24-48 hours, though it's usually faster than that.

Don't bother with the Russian VIN decoder site; it can't tell you anything you can't ascertain for yourself from looking at the vehicle.

Yes, but only in 2000 and 2001, and only if leather was specified.
