My 4WD is being screwy... I have a posi-lock in there and it's still kicking out of 4WD....... I really need 4WD here as I'm in Carova Beach, north of Corolla... I have to drive 11 miles on the beach to get to my house.... lol.. and it's not always possible in 2WD... already got stuck a few times and the tide almost took my Jeep out!
Anyway, yah I need someone around here with either a welder or a one piece Dana 30 shaft.... Need it ASAP... I'd give you my cell but there's no service here! I guess PM me on here.. I'll check at least once a day/night. Thanks.

Take the posi lok housing off and hose clamp the shift fork to one side, it'll hold to get you off of the beach. There is a PNP in Va Beach (near Oceana) and they had quite a few XJ's there. You will need a new seal (have to search on that) for fit the disco housing. I'm not far but do you live on Carova or are you visiting?
Never mind (saw West Chester for location)

That's the weird thing. The collar seems to be on to both shafts? I pulled the cover and checked. The shift form was close, but not quite 100% over to the engaged side...... Ugh. I wanted to get it fixed while I am here so I can get in some more wheeling... that's one of the main reasons I wanted to come down here.
And yes, I live in West Chester, PA.. just down here until Friday night, then heading right to PA Jeeps.
