PETA is about money and fund raising, guess most people 'assume' that the environmental groups, every one, are altruistic. The salaries they make are obscene... back in the 70's Clevelend Amory [sp] was pulling down about 7 mil a year....you'll find the site for fund for animals notes he worked for 'free' but a bit of digging proves the lie...he got wacked by the IRS, main reason I remember it, was in the navy at the time and the USN came out with a notice of 'bogus' non-profits and ffa was on the list..

While in Washington DC, on the metro, I saw an ad for PETA that said "Even if animal testing found a cure for AIDS, we'd still be against it."

Just pissed me off. Who do these people think they are?

I propose that we do human testing to find a cure for canine heartworm. We can round up some PETA members. I'm sure they'll be glad to work for the cause.

Yea, find some ALF and ELF members to do that to, maybe mix in some Taliban while we're at it and it'll all be good:sunshine:
