We just installed a lift on a buddies 07' Jeep JK, and i took the shocks instead of letting him junk them- does anyone know if these will fit my 88' XJ?

No idea, but why don't you compare them to the shocks on your XJ? Check mounting style and compressed/extended lengths.

Thanks for the input, i'm getting ready to lift my xj 3" and figured i could use these instead of buying new ones since the jk has a higher stock stance than my xj.

I just scored a set of new 07's off a 4 door JK rubicon with less than a mile on them, they work perfect for my 2.5 BB lift on my TJ....
