First got my new seat installed. It's from J.C. Whitney, GaragePro Racing Seat. Was only 159.99. It's way comfortable and at that price can't be too concerned with how badly it gets ruined. I used the stock sliders(it came with sliders that weren't compatible) and fabbed up a mounting bracket out of 1x1 square steel from the local hardware store.

I had to chop off some of the plastic trim near the floor where the seat belt rolls up to get the seat to move back far enough, but other than that it fit pretty good, the door shuts easy with no interference, believe it or not.

next up tomorrow is to start getting the new front ORFab winch bumper installed. I chopped off the ends that go up close to the wheel wells and angled the tube to match the wheel well angle. Added a welded on grill hoop and support tubes due to my hatred of the bolt on grill hoop that ORFab offers. I had a local speed shop do the hoop for me and the total came out to only $20 more than what ORFab wants for the bolt on. Only other thing to do was get rid of the gloss black and hit it with some flat black rustoleum.

After getting the seat installed I put on the best mod, the Seth Stanton Mem. sticker. Big props to all behind that project!

I'll get pics up when the bumper is on and winch installed. And the yellow/black colors are the MWC colors.

Thanks Sam, as you can see I totally f-up'd the originals, I am "challenged" (read retarded) when it comes to posting photos.

The vents are wrangler hood vents framed out with some pieces I made at work. I also made the vent up front for the air filter.
No problems with water or snow.
I will try to get some off pavement photos up, right now I'm still working on the bumper. Started Sunday and had the last steering box bolt to be removed snap on me. Day was downhill from there.

Finished installing the bumper earlier in the week, but just finished wiring up the winch yesterday. To say I'm pleased with how it turned out would be an understatement. Big thanks to all here who influenced the decisions I made along the way. Especially to PolishXJ for the install tips, and Steelmen for the help.

Forgot to mention and thank Bill's Speed Shop for the bending/welding of the push bar and supports. They're in Rockdale, Illinois just off Larkin Ave. one block north of Route 6. If you're in the Joliet area and don't have the bending/welding skills to get what you need done, give them a call.
