Help with hood!

Wow, this is embarassing...so I broke the new stroker motor in and took it for a short drive. Everything was good. My buddy and I put the hood on and shut it...forgetting to connect the release cable. So any suggestions on how to get it open?

there was a thread on here bout a week ago for broken release cable. do a search, thought someone said it could be reached from underneath.

Well if the cable was still attatched you could pop the drivers side headlight out and do it from there.. You may be able to get underneath and pop it, but it's a tight squeeze between the fans and the motor.

Let me know how you get it done.

Got it open. Went from underneath, grabbed the hood release rod above the electric fan with a pair of vice grips, and pulled toward the drivers side hard. popped right open. Thanks!
