Shackles and Driveline Angle?

I've got a 94 xj 4wd 4.0 with the AW4. I've got a RE 4.5 that started to sag, so I corrected the rear with 2" shackles. Do I need to worry about my driveline angle? Is there anything to be concerned about??? Thanks.

I think shackles would tip the pinion up a bit, as long as you don't get DL vibrations you should be OK.

Now if you have a SYE and the pinion was already aimed at the TC then you would most likely need to shim it back down.

Just my thoughts, no warrenty implied.

I think you should sell that ugly jeep myself. Or take it out now and then!!!

That would be fine, if only I could find a welder to fix my exhaust manifold. That would be the best way.

Hey MDSIDMAN, What's the chances that you're in eugene? Maybe we can hookup on saturday and compare our rigs, I know that you can't turn down another man's offer to help him with his Pinion Angle. What do ya think?
