Ok, I'm running 6.5" Rock Krawler coils and custom long arms on my
'88 MJ Comanche long bed. NO FRONT FENDERS, just tubes.

The bed will be trimmed up quite a bit and the wheel wells should be roomy.
I'll running running normal 15x8 Crager steel wheels:

I have an open Dana 30 front with 297x shafts
and a 31 spline Ford 8.8 rear welded both with 4.10s.
I have an auto trans with a healthy 4.0.

I run Ohio trails, ruts, mud and some woods rocks.

WHAT TIRES WOULD YOU RUN:

TSL LTB Swampers - 34x10.50x15 for $122 each
TSL bias Swampers - 36x12.50x15 for $170 each
Maxxis Buckshot or Big Horns 35x12.50x15 for $135 each

I can't decide.

the maxxis bighorns

The Swampers are unbeliveable in the kind of terrain you are talking about. I think you should go with those. Everybody says they are crappy on the road however I like the noise they make and I can still hear my radio just fine.

only reason i wouldnt go swampers, thats a heavy 36in tire on a stock d30, so my choice wasnt what tire i think is better but what tire is better for his setup. now with some shafts i can see it but still 36s and a d30 is pushin it

Will 36s fit with 6.5" of lift and no fenders? Yea, those 34 LTBs are sweet and cheap... I won't be on the road much at all. I think the 34s will be too small.
I'm leaning toward either the 36 TSLs or the 35 Big Horns.

36s will def fit, i have 6.5 in and trimmed fenders and could easily fit 36-38s with proper bumpstops
