That actually looks like it would be a lot of fun. But yeah, it pains me to see a fellow XJ go to waste...

Spoiled Brat. There is no excuse for destroying a vehicle like that.

The owner is probably in western or northwestern Europe.
He said, "This jeep had failed it's MOT and it was not economically viable to repair the the vehicle ( completely rusted underneath), rather than just take it straight to the breakers we decided to have some fun with it first. All the driving you see in the video was on private land. After the destruction, the jeep and crap that fell off were low loaded to a local scrap metal merchant and it weighed in at just under 3 tons, for which we received £110. Thanks for watching."
I'd have done the same thing.

I was surprised to see it hadn't when they jumped it without the rear hatch. Everyone knows it's structural.

I guess that you wouldn't like what my friends and I are doing to a 94 xj. I bought a "parts" rig for $100.00. It's a 4.0l, aw4/np231, and we are beating on it just like in the video. On private land, of course. The floors and rockers are rusted out. I just bought it for the transfer case and front axle housing. We are going to have some more fun with it, and pull the good parts off before it gets sold for scrap. Believe me, if it was feasible to repair the rust, we would have. Stock wheeling at it's finest:D

Then, don't count on the front D30 to be any good.
Unless, of course, you want a bent D30.

We haven't jumped it yet. We've been too busy climbing rock walls and putting it through the mud pit. Every body panel is destroyed, except the hood. Funny thing is, it goes where our lifted/locked jeeps go.:D
