Heater Core?

Starting to get a slight smell of coolant when driving. Have no coolant loss? It is a 1998 XJ. No puddel on the floor. Please help or any ideas.

Lift up the carpet around the heater core to make sure it's not leaking. Then look to see if any of the coolent hoses are leaking at all. I had a Subaru that developed a intermittent leak in a small hose that dripped on the exhaust manifold. I would have sworn the leak was inside the vehicle because of the smell, but it wasn't. The recovery tank can mask a small leak for quite a while, leading you to believe there aren't any leaks. Good Luck
