I took my kids off roading when they were about 8+, now they both drive wranglers and consider nothing else. Even when they had their permits they would only drive the wifes olds at nite, no problem with the XJ. Just did not want to be seen in 'the mom mobile'..... course my sons first car was an 80 Caddy eldo, called 'the pimpmobile' and he'd even dress the part :D :D :D which in rural PA got him some attention...
