I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. I went to the auto parts store and they said I need 80w-85-90 weight for my XJ. It's a 93 sport 2 door with the AX-15. Is that right?

Yes, that is correct for your diffs.
Any 80/90W will work just fine.

I should have asked this in the first part but, is that ok for both the front and rear axles. Thanks for the replies.

Do your axles have LSD? You will need a friction modifier additive is so.
I'm pretty sure the 75W140 (if you tow) is Synthetic. I'm guessing, the Synthetic is necessary for cold temps, so the fluid will flow well enough until it warms up.
