Old Bearing, New Race, issues?

Thinking about swapping in a different set of shafts. The bearings on the other shafts are in good shape, but older. The bearings on the current shafts are brand new. Will I have a problem running the older shafts with the new bearing race in there?

I wouldn't do it unless they are the same part numbers on the bearings.

I'd figure odds are about 20 to 1 that you'd have a problem, but you don't want to be that one.
