Anyone in PHX area wanna help??

I have a cracked manifold on my 99 Cherokee. The local shops want 300+ to install. Am needing a little help installing myself and would be willing to pay someone to help me that has done it. I have a garage and I think all tools necessary, just need a set of experienced hands to help me. I can offer cash, beer, food whatever is needed to sway the hearts and minds.:yelclap:

and you're talking about exhaust manifold/header?

I'm in North Phoenix. Yes. I mean the exhaust manifold. I still need to order the header. I also have the FSM for my year...it came with it when I bought it ;). Have you ever done this swap before? I've worked on lots of cars but havent done the Jeep manifold thing yet. Probably wont be too much of a b*tch I hope. But willing to compensate someone for helping.

If you'll be doing it during the weekend then count me in... I know that I'll be doing in eventually too since mine still has the stock one and they're prone to crack, so I'll do it for the experience... I have installed headers on a toyota truck, mitsu eclipse and a supra, no xj's yet... I can't imagine it being any different...

also if you havent decided yet and have budget for it... get the borla with the downpipe... the downpipe is mandrel bent instead of crush bent... just a though...

It will be on the weekend for sure. I would go Borla but the difference in performance is nominal and I want to wait for my lift before I replace the downpipe so I can have one with no "dents" to clear the UJoints (mandrel bent or otherwise). So no interest in the Borla, I am getting the APN and hoping for the best. Will replace downpipe along with rest of exhaust after lift. I appreciate your help and will email you once Im ready. Is that cool?
