LET DESIDE BY WEDESDAY FEB . 29TH ! (i work 3rd shift and will have to leave work early the 3rd . )



I'LL LEAD THE GROUP ! someones got to step up . just need to know who's coming and how ruff you like it ! if we hit the trails by 12 to 12:30pm we could ride to around dark or so .

i vote CRACKER BARREL / AETNA ether date will be good for me .

Aetna sounds good to me. I would rather do Saturday myself. I am stock on 30" BFG ATs with recovery points. I might have my 2 inch BB on by then too. I am game for anything ya'll (the seasoned ones) think a stocker is capable of.

I fell through a trailor today at work and landed on some red iron that was loaded on it. I think I cracked my tail bone. :( I cant even sit on my ass.

Im going to the doctor to have it looked at in the morning. If Im healed by Sat. and dont have to work, Im in. There will be 3 xjs total with me. Should be pretty neat to see so many Cherokees on the trail together.

yeah i havent ever been wheeling with this many cherokees. i should have several others with me also... just welded me on a tube rear bumper tonite, gotta do a few other little things and ill be ready to trailer it down there. theres places to park at aetna rite? places that people wont mess with the trucks and trailers?

Go around the bend and follow the signs, you can't miss it. I'll be there, but I won't be wheeling. I don't have the tires for it yet.

I'll do my best to be there. Wifey and kid may say different or they may come along. The Cracker Barrel is off the 2nd exit past Moccasin Bend coming from Chattanooga.

On Parking... There is a place just down the road from the Cracker Barrel and the Aetna Entrance called Raccoon Mountain Campground. The owner will let you park there all day for $5.00 and it's safer than parking at the foot of the trail.

On Meeting Time... is that 10:00AM having already had breakfast or 10:00AM to eat breakfast then leave? It makes a difference.

i was looking into meeting up at right around 10 am to eat . then ride . unless everyone wants to meet a little earlier ??

the cracker barrel is just off exit 174 . you can't miss it . (coming from chatt. exit 174 . turn left at bottom of ramp . take 1st right . cracker barrel is just down the street on the left .) you'll only be about a 1/4 mile from the entrance of the mtn . (subdivion)

parking . i don't park in the subdivion . i know people that own a consrution company just down the road . i park there . never had a problem . this is where i'll be parking my truck and trailer .

how many people have CB's ? you might want to look into packing drinks and maybe snacks too . spare parts ? tools ? jack/spare tire ? tow strap ? 1st aid kit ? fire extinguisher ?

i carry all of the above . you guys wheel your trucks . you know what you need .

if something falls off mine .....don't worry unless you think you need it . cb's i was thinking spread the people with cb's out between the group and we could make sure everything is going ok .

as i told you your more than welcome to use my ramps (you must not have a dovetail trailer ). one of my buddys cherokees on 35's had trouble getting up on a trailer in 4lo .a dovetail at that , but he is open f/r .

Just saw your posts on the RRR board. Sounds like there will be some pretty built rigs along with. How many of you guys know the mountain well enough to get around and find your way back out?... (in the dark?)

Just curious. I know my way around there enough to get lost really good. I could probably find my way out, but I have trouble telling the hard routes from the easy routes until I'm upside down.

looks like you can down runnaway the hard way . or i'm pretty sure it is runaway. 2 ridges over from the peanut butter hole right . got about 6 or 7 hills going up .

to be honest i ride more at night than i do during the day on aetna . i know about 95% of the riding area . i'll have a couple of trucks with me that knows the aera good too . plus j.hall and the couple with him know the area pretty good also .

I was about 3/4 of the way up and the front slid off the side of the path I was on. When I got completely sideways it went over. 2 flips to the bottom and landed on the side. I drove it out, but the top, windshield and frame, roll cage, hood, grill, and fender were toast. Put a nice ripple under my door openings too.

It used to be a pretty Jeep.

I just got my ass x-rayed and Ive got a fractured tail bone. Doc gave me some good pain pills so Im still in. Looking forward to it! Lol, I kinda sound like Hotrod! Some of yall know who Im talkin about. :)
