Fender Flare f*@k up!

I was searching on ebay and in my excitement of finding a set of wrangler flares for 12bucks shipped (cheap) i didnt realize till i had already won that they are for the 95 body. if i go ahead and use these for the moment will the 96+ flares still fit?? I dont mind them being CHEAP oem's i just dont want to cut the fender too much and then the flares that i actually want not to fit.

YJ flares look good on XJ's. Check out 2xtreme's rig. He runs them. Not sure about the cutting part though.
