Radio Wiring...know the colors?

The people who owned my jeep before me made the dumb decision to cut the factory plugs off the wiring for the OEM radio when they installed an aftermarket head.

Does anybody know what colors are what? I was thinking about buying one of those "adapter" plugs at walmart, cutting off the aftermarket side, and wiring it up color-by-color...so i could at least have it back to "stock"...but i dont know if the colors would even match.

unless you find a factory radio side harness, the colors won't match.
Can't recall exact colors, but this might help a little.

12v constant-pink
12v ign-red
ground-black or braid strap

rf spkr-purple- blue w/red stripe+
lf spkr-brown- green+
rr spkr-brown w/blue- brown w/yellow+
lr spkr-blue w/orange- blue w/white+

You might have some wires left over but those should be for illum/dimmer.

yeah, it defenitly worked to a "T"

i wired up the radio in a little under an hour.
