Hi folks.

I'm planning a spring break trip to Beaver state park in the Oklahoma panhandle and I need to know whether or not I can get around the roll bar requirement at the sand dune park because the XJ is an exclosed structure with a hardtop.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure where you are going, however at the Little Sahara outside of Waynoka Ok. Roll bars are required for open vehicles and any vehicle built before 1986 I believe. Fed. guidelines instituted roll over safty standards that the park recognizes in enclosed S.U.V.'s built after that. A simple call to the OK. parks dept. should answer all of your questions. You will need a whip flag.
Have fun

You only need a whip flag at either of the Oklahoma dunes, no cage for a full bodied rigs. Now that I think of it, I've seen topless FS Blazers on the dunes without cages.
