Is it lifted?

I knew that you or someone else would come back and haunt me about that. No its still stock like my XJ. :tear:

My little bro is taking welding classes. No its not lifted but in the future we will get a welder and we may lift it or sell it like it is. Don't get it wrong the go cart is fun just like it is. It would be nice to have it lifted with some shock adsorbers we break bolt on it all the time from ramping it or just pushin it hard.

Yo Boys, I'll try to make this one, Sunday's are a really bad day for me though, Ill mark it down on the calender. Plus it all depends on how it drives after it comes back from the shop...The drive to the first club meeting was hell, and it was only about a 15 minute drive.

it's getting close , everyone still down with this ?
i found the problem with my rig that i was having @ winterfest to be multiple issues ,
the fuel filter was almost plugged , taking out the fuel pump ( got a new pump today , putting it in tommorow night )
new thermostat , the old one would stick shut occasionally .
and the cooling fan relay was getting lazy , found an extra one at work .
so i hope to have it ready , it still runs but not very well at 35 psi of fuel pressure . ( supposed to be 49 @ an idle )
i am surprised i made it to mo. and back .
I :loveu: MY XJ

autozone will check codes free also , but they want to sell parts .
so knowing what the code is helps , but knowing what to do with that info is usually out of their element on some of these modern vehicles .
for example : just because you have an o2 sensor code doesnt always mean the sensor is bad .

the obd2 standard was the governments attempt to level the playing field so anyone could check / clear codes ,
but without the proper diagnostic tools / procedures this just created a whole new group of " part throwers " .

so memorizing every spec and quoting the service manual is ok , ( if you have the extra space in the grey matter )
but absorbing and utilizing THEORY is where it's at in the real world.
( you can change the car / truck , but you cant change the theory behind why it works , at least until we start flying " jetsonmobiles " )

Would anybody be interested in removing my oxygen sensor so I can inspect/clean it? I tried everything today and it wouldn't budge....I replaced it about a year ago, I'm not sure how I got it loose then!

EDIT - I replaced it last year and then used some seafoam/marvel to "cleanse" the engine....just want to make sure there's no build up on the sensor from all of that.

I did manage to change the oil in the wifes Tahoe today, i also installed 2 new headlights in the XJ, as well as greased all the joints for the long arms....Other than that, I've watched spongebob/Mickey Mouse Clubhouse/Little Einstiens today. It's been eventful.

U can't legally fit 5 in an element tho.....so it seats 4. Xj wins for fitting 5 adults heh! I think the maximum I transported was 7 in the XJ......2 front, 3 middle, 2 in the back on top of the rubbermaid containers.

......I transported was 7 in the XJ......2 front, 3 middle, 2 in the back on top of the rubbermaid containers.

I did that same thing, only for a couple blocks though, back tires rubbed a couple times. Then on new years it was me, a front pass. and one in the back seat and the tires were howling. He's a big guy but damn, weighing more than 5 people? Damn.

Blaine B.

Hated to miss today, but I used up the weekend pulling the motor. I'm not out too much, I will see most of you at the next MJC. The XJ looks like it's going thru open heart surgery. Check out the block damage after #1 connecting rod let go. :wierd:

Hopefully will have donor motor put in within a week or two. Then watch out, I'm overdue for 4x4 fun!

Well I followed the directions but couldn't find Douglas Rd -- wandered around Mishawaka hoping to find it but no dice. Anyone know where this place called Jeep Acres is - heard its either on 2 or 20 between LaPorte and South Bend. Took 20 home but didn't see it - probably on 2 somewhere

Could not find douglas?!?!?!?! What road where you on?

Douglas runs into 31 by St. Marys/Holy Cross. Right by the Toll Road

Ironwood also intersects into douglas and obvisouly grape road too.

I should have PMed you my cell. DANG, sorry my bad dude.

I drive by Jeep Acers all the time, I know the Owner.

Hate to break more bad news to you he is selling the place, acutally it maybe sold as I type. He is $$$$$ thou.

There is a white 98 XJ for sale on his property with a yellow beacon on top.

As you are headed West on 2 toward chicago/laporte he is on the left had side of St. Rd. 2. I believe he is before Tulip Road.

You should see the little Ford Escort hatchback lifted by adding a frame.

Really funny I have seen it about 4 times laugh everytime I see it.

It is near 31, near the gas station you were at.>>>I think I know were you are at.

I don't think I have see that Mustang before, I think I remember seening the truck.

Is that regular at $2.37?

You guys have it good!

That guy was in my old club. Fullsize Bronco frame. Um, yeah he wasn't alone in my club with the car/truck. A guy down the street has a full size Olds w/frame welded directly on top of a full size Blazer frame. He got pulled over the first day he drove it and got a Police escort home were it's now been sitting for roughly 2+ years.

2.37 if you get a car wash. 2.47 if you don't.
Some of those car/trucks are a bit scary.
