I just did a SYE kit for a TJ I am building. It also has the 231 transfer case. I just thought I would let everyone know around me locally that wants a SYE installed in their transfer case I could do it for 325.00 That includes parts and labor. That is if you bring me the transfer case. If I pull it, it would be more.

I just finished doing the JB Conversions HD kit in my XJ and WOW!!! I couldn't describe how amazing everything went together and how easy it was to do. Took right about 2.5 hours, first time touching the TC.

It's not a bad job if you got the tools and the know how. Removing those snap rings is probably toughest task, and cutting the shaft off, other than that it is not bad.

Must be a Hack and tap.

Nope no hack and tap here. I was talking about trimming the shift rail down a 1/4 of a inch.

yea, SYE's are pie to do...dont even have to take out the case...takes about 45 minutes or so....

some kits you have to trim the shift rail...some you dont...
ive got a good deal on the OMIX SYE kit...like $185 for everything...and its goes together and works great...

Much easier out of the Rig than in the rig. My kit was a PORC Style HD kit.
