Cruise control problem !

the problem is my cruise control does not engage under 50 MPH i have stock tyres and gears and every thing !
how can i calibrate it ?
is there any way to calibrate the cruise control ?

What year XJ are we talking about? Your profile says 1986. The old Renix cruise controls had an adjustment procedure in the FMS. The setting called "low speed" is on the side of the yellow box, closest to the end. The FSM says it should be set to the 10 o'clock position. I'm not sure if you need to tweak it higher or lower, but make sure you mark the setting before you start changing it.

Stop enriching uranium first. Then your cruise will work from the lack or radiation.
