Ok, so I bought a New to me XJ tonight. I got a screamin deal on it so the few minor things wrong I am fixing myself.
Its a 2001 XJ 4x4
It has a Pioneer DEH-P6500 aftermarket stereo in it. It sounds AWSOME except the drivers door speaker is not working. I went to replace the speakers and the new one also didnt work. Its only the drivers door speaker that is not working. I removed the head unit and it look prefessionally installed as all connections are crimped into a factory style harness. So my question is can a head unit just die on 1 side of the speaker? Or do I have a wiring problem.
The wires looked good in the door, and in the dash but who knows.
I will probably start toning out the wires tomorrow to see if I can find the color for the drivers door.
Anyway, just wanting to know if it is possable just the one side of the radio can go out and the rest work fine?
Thanks
