Quick question...Are they supposed to do that? I just noticed they shut down when I switch to high beams on my 2000 XJ, then come back on when I switch back to low beams.

Yup, normal my 90 does that too.

Normal. In most states, it's illegal to run the fog lights and the high beams at the same time.

That's how they work on my 88 XJ. Now the question is, How can we rewire it to not do that?
