anyone use the rustys flowmaster kit i was going to order the kit with 40 series muff but i dont want it to sound bad so either a 40 or a 50 series... i dont want to have it have to little back pressure when i lift off the throttle and have it sound crappy so i need to decide 40 series or 50 series anyone use either of these?

i have a 50 series with 2.5" piping, mine was custom made but it sounds good.. ima go get a video for ya if i can so u can see what it sounds like
the 50 series has a lil deeper sounds.. and a lil less aggressive.. not as loud also

I have the rustys kit with a 50 flow and high flow cat like the sound a lot. just like steven said it is a little deeper than the 40 series

when you go from throttle to full release to get you get any popping back?
There are lots of videos here and on the web of those exhaust systems for you to compare.

The reason it pops, is because cold air is expanding from the hot exhaust coming out...

No I don't get any poping with my exhaust. you mite though if you dont run any piping out?

well i just got a flowmonster cat and im gonna get the rustys flowmaster system with the 40 series i will post a video when i get it done

I've got a Flowmaster Delta-40. I did the cat back system from Rusty's, and added a 3" tip.

I have they rusty's exhaust kit with the flowmaster 40. There is popping when coming off of throttle to no throttle. The popping doesn't happen under normal driving, just under "spirited" driving.

I have Rustys with a 40 and a Magne flow hi flow cat...it sounds sick..when I first put it on it was mellow but now its had time to break in it sounds mean at idle..I felt a nice boost of power as well.

I would like to here a 50 series flow master........I thing the 40 would have to much sound resignation with out a cat.....:anon:

I always thought the popping noise was just from a rich condition when the throttle is closed at a higher rpm and the gas just burning on the hot exhaust manifold and that the only reason you dont hear it as much stock is because you muffler keeps it quiet. But I could be wrong though.
