i have to change heads on my motor swap 91 head to 96 block...my question is should i go ahead and have a head job done on it ?

how many miles are on the head? if its 150k + i would have the valves ground and lapped and new seals put in since its already off the motor. its always a good idea to do that kinda stuff before putting it together, it saves time and heartache.

Depends on where you go, I bought all the valves, guides, seals, springs and retainers and then took them to a machine shop. They took the old ones out, milled the head .010" cleaned and reassembled it for $100.

Theres a guy on E Bay ClearWater Heads. This is where i got mine they run For $250 and thats with a 1 year warrinty to boot. I use it on a 4.6 stroker if that tells ya any thing.
