I bet a bunch of you know about this already:

I've used it a lot for mountain bike trails and routes on my road bicycle, no reason it wouldn't work really well for wheeling trails too.

Hey, that's not shabby. Do you know if you can up and download waypoints and tracks from your GPS? (I didn't read through it much...at work)

It's got a lot of GPS support, and it can for most Garmins that I've tried.

I use Oziexplorer (http://www.oziexplorer.com/). It will allow you to upload and download tracks, waypoint etc. I'm real happy with it.
