.....this trip has casued me the most carnage of any I have gone on.....including to the Expedition
Here I'm sitting on the side of 65 at the Lafayette exit (next to a hotel with wireless internet) waiting for my friend with a tow truck to come get me. My tranny is gone.

Sorry to hear that Randy, I made it home finally. Kudzu called me arround 2 her front brakes went out on the drive home. :explosion All is ok her parents came to get her and nurse teh injured dodge home.....

yep....that's the one they use for the big rigs :D pulled my expedition with trailer attached just fine :D

Yea I know I'm in the big rig business and have seen teh bill from them too often..... big bill usually!

yes.....usually this would have been a very big bill. luckily, my friend works at the shop and the owner gave me a huge deal.

with a big thanks to my friends Zach and Joe, my trailer and jeep are now home, and my expy is in the parking lot of the tranny shop to be looked at tomorrow.

preliminary diagnosis is that it is just the torque converter. it's being pulled now to verify

well, no good news afterall.
the clutches in the tranny are toast and caused the converter to fail
