Im freakin HAPPY right now!
I just put the engine back in my junk after putting all new seals, gaskets,rings, and crank barrings. so After today of getting things put back together and after hooking up vaccum line after vaccum line, I finally put the battery back in and turned it over, nothing. Not a damn thing happened. So I got under it and bypassed the ignition and connected the two bolts on the starter with a screw driver and finally it turned over, but now it wont start. So now Im getting worried. I narrow it down to having no spark, great.
I then narrow it down the the coil but I have an extra, so I figure I'll switch it in tomorow.
Well, before I went in, I took one last look at the engine in a parts jeep I had, to make sure I connected everything on mine, well I noticed it had an extra ground wire connected where the battery ground went on the block, so I go back to mine, and realized I forgot to put it in.
I hooked it up and sure enough, she starts. God am I happy, I had no clue on why it would'nt spark, and I was getting scared. Im just glad I had a parts jeep.
