Firewall seals

On my 91 limited i have a little water commin in when it rains. I found hat its leaking at the seal were the HVAC box and the fire wall meet. I already have the seal got it from the dealer. Can i replace it without taking the hvac box out. I know that i have to take the a/c lines out. has any done this any ideas?
