The Redington Pass area, east of Tucson, has 3 shooting areas that are trashed due to irresponsible, trash leaving morons.

There are a few groups involved in getting the areas cleaned up and establishing a permanent, sanctioned shooting facility up in the Redington Pass area.

March 10th, from 7 a.m. until approximately noon there will be a clean up of the three currently used, trashed shooting areas.

The Game & Fish commission will be supplying dumpsters, bags etc, we need to supply the labor to help get these areas cleaned up.

Law enforcement personnel is being lined up to close off areas where the clean up will be taking place.

This is an awesome chance for us to help establish ourselves as a positive asset to the community.

This is not the thread to banter the problem of pigs that don't pick up their trash, shooters, good or bad etc.

Those posts will be immediately deleted!!

If you can come out on 10 March and help for a few hours, post up here.

If we want to make a game plan for after the clean up, then start another thread.

Lets show what the off road community can do!!:worship:

PS: The folks that show up for the clean up, if they want it, will get a voucher for a free years membership at the established, sanctioned shooting facility!

TIA, :patriot:

I should be up and running by then. The final piece to my puzzle should be shipped in about 2 weeks (DEO Steering). I dont want to do that long of a drive without my new steering.

Keep us posted, I should be able to make it...

I don't have a link yet but will call this evening and found out what's up with that.

I was contacted by James, President of Tucson Offroad and they want to assist in the clean-up. They have about 8 people signed on so it should be a good turn out.
