Cragar Soft 8 Wheels

I just received my four 15X8 Cragar Soft 8 wheels w/4" backspacing tonight, and noticed a warning sticker on each wheel saying (paraphrased), "Do not use a tire with a diameter greater than 30" on a 15" wheel." Why do they say this?

I hate to break it to them, but I'm mounting 32's on 'em. :firedevil

This is to keep them safe if something happens and you sue. Look at the load rating as well. I ran 33's on 15x8" Cragars for 3 years and I've seen 37's+ on 'em as well :-X

It's a liability thing.

The same reason beadlock companies don't reccomend running single digit pressures on their wheels.

Maybe they figure that if you are running anything over 30" you are offroading and they don't want to be responsible for those wheels when they are used in a situation where they will likely get beat on.

I've been running 35" tires on mine for almost a year with no problems.
