LCA and UCA ??'s

Ok so this is a very newb question but I just don't have the answer. If I replace the LCA's with a longer CA's do I need to replace the uppers as well? I would think yes but I can't seem to find the answer. Maybe I haven't searched well enough.

That depends on how much lift, how much longer the lca's are, and what you are trying to accomplish..

Below 5" I'd say just LCA above the magical 5" you may need both.

Eh, typically 3.5" kits come with just lowers, and 4.5" kits come with both.

Although, most kits do net closer to 5" new, again, it mostly depends on the length of the lca's your working with. Most kits lca's are only about .25" longer than stock, if you were to go much longer than that, uca's would be necessary.

it will work out to be at most 4.5 in the front and the arms are from a 4" kit. The lift will be a budget build our own set-up. I was kinda thinking it would work but was not sure.
