So I tried searching and I think I got every thread under the sky each time..

IF I were to try and locate a Ford 9" front end. Are there any, in around stock width, and what are they in? And and there differences or choices tube sizes or such between whats avail?

Anyone help me here? Or have a site where I can get this info?

Thanks

thats what I was afraid of. None huh. err so a Spidertrax at liek 400+ inner C's is the best starting point?

No stock front 9"ers. Just aftermarket ones.

Diamond Axle sells a front 9", with Deadenbear 'C' already welded on. I think that they will build it to suit. IE: width, tube size and thickness, pass or drivers drop, ect.. Spendy though.

http://www.diamondaxle.com/index.htm

Or a Spidertrax 9". Cheaper, 65" wide, cut to length, weld on your own 'C's.

Still debating on which one Im going to go with.

Yeah the spidertrax was what I was thinking of starting with, but then thought I would see if stockers ever had a housing I could start with as a choice.

I wont go agro like Avery but a new front will happen someday and if I start buying parts one at a time it wont be so bad when it does fully gernade and I have to do something.

Are you going to end up going Hi9 or the standard LP 3rd?

depends on if I win the lotto or just bingo with grandma...

Not like it'll be cheap, but if you can get ahold of a matched set of front and rear toyota solid axles, they are pretty stout. I don't know prices, but I would imagine that they may be in the range of custom built ones since they're kinda hard to find and never go for cheap. People know that they're worth $$$.

Umm talking Housings sorry. That will fit any 9" housing yes. And that is one very conciderd 3rd set-up. That is of couse like noted, I win the lotto.

I heard so much crap about the truehi9 from currie and all, when I did a CJ front and rear 35sp setup last yr. I SURE wish I would have taken it for what it was, BS. After looking in to it (when I had the time that is) I found that not only is it a better 3rd then Currie's, but the staff is by far superior in character and demeaner..

The guy that post under truehi9 here and elsewhere I ahve to believe is from there, and he has shown to me to be very factual and non-judgemental. Good guy I think...

The truehi9 is a product built by me (Chris Weivoda) and one other guy. No big company just two guys that invested a lot to build something we thought would be cool. I try to deal in facts and truth because then I don't back myself into a corner very often.

ROBERTK, I still remember the Currie pinion support deal that I was wrong about (bolt hole alignment). Shame on me.
